The original consignor received this shirt in the 1990s directly from Helmut Rahn, whom he met personally several times during this time. The shirt was stored well and away from light by Helmut Rahn and the consignor. That's why the U-light sensitive color of the shirt is very well preserved! This shirt was only worn in one game! The buyer of this shirt would like to sell it again for financial reasons ---- Riro-Sport is a small shirt manufacturer, probably from West Germany (there are also shirts from Schalke 04 from the 1940s or Preußen Delbrück from the 1950s that were made by Riro). The DFB's standard supplier of national team shirts in the 1950s was "Leuzela". The DFB was a poor association at the time and only ordered very few shirts from Leuzela because the associations had to pay for the shirts themselves. There was no shirt sponsorship yet. Back then, the shirts were all washed after games, repaired if damaged, and used for several games. The national team's equipment manager had to ensure that a complete, identical set of shirts was available for each game (i.e. numbers 1-11, since there were no substitutions yet). Sometimes one or two shirts were missing from a set of shirts because they could no longer be repaired or were too damaged by washing. Presumably these missing shirts were supplemented by individual orders from the company “ARIBA”, which is located in the vicinity of the DFB (Frankfurt), and from “Riro”. It was not uncommon for the players to wear the same shirts in a game, but they came from different manufacturers (e.g. in the 1972 European Championship, the DFB had "Erima" and "Umbro" shirts. But it can also be that one A complete set of shirts was ordered from "Riro", which was then used in this international match against Austria. Stars like Helmut Rahn then took a shirt home with them, other players shouldn't have done that, "We would have been kicked out of the national team! " (Quote from a national player who has already died to Wolfgang Fuhr, the auctioneer. Museum piece!. Condition: B+
