Original guest book of the "Haus Rupenhorn" in Berlin, seat of NS Sports Minister Tschammer von Osten during the Berlin 1936 Olympic Games from July to August 1936. Before and during the 1936 Olympic Games, Tschammer von Osten gave numerous receptions in this house for high-ranking visitors to the Olympics in Berlin. The prominent visitors to these events signed their names in the guest book. From July 8, 1936 to August 16, 1936 there were various meetings with Tschammer von Osten in this new building built for the Olympics. It was built for the 1936 Olympic Games based on a design by Walther Wickop. It was used by the Nazi sports minister during the 1936 Olympic Games and was moved into by Siemens managers after the Olympic Games. The house still exists today. Provience: The guest book remained in the Ruprecht house after the move from Tschammer and Osten in 1936, was stored there and rediscovered sometime after the war. On August 20, 1997, this guest book was auctioned at Christie's auction house in London. The guest book then remained in the buyer's collection to this day. Condition: B
